Campaigning in favour of Congress candidate of Kangra Parliamentary segment Chander Kumar, Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh again lambasted at former Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal and said that the Power to rule the country vests with the organization and not with a particular person.
Chief Minister holds public rallies at Indora, Baranda and Kamnala and decimated the claims of BJP. He ridiculed the claims of BJP’s Prime Minister Candidate Narinder Modi and stated that BJP has just exaggerated its promises. He asserted that the Government runs through concentrated efforts of the organization, the provisions laid down in our constitution and through democratic means and not by whims and fancies of Narinder Modi or Prem Kumar Dhumal.
Singh stated that the statements of Dhumal won’t deter the people of the State for voting for congress candidates in coming Lok Sabha elections. He advised leader of opposition to stop daydreaming of overthrowing the present government in Himachal Pradesh and asked him to behave like a mature politicians.
Chief Minister claimed that the present government was focusing on development of all sectors. He promised to open three medical colleges in the state. He also rubbishes the accusation of BJP candidate Shanta Kumar, in which he had accused Singh for neglecting Kangra, and clarified that region has special space in Congress set-up.
