Palampur: Senior BJP leader Shanta Kumar has requested the Himachal Lokhit Party (HLP) to merge with the BJP instead of joining hands with the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).
While talking to the media, Shanta Kumar revealed that he had talked to the Maheshwar Singh. He is hoping that Maheshwar Singh will consider his appeal keeping in view the national interest and present political scenario in the country.
He also hinted to field Maheshwar Singh from the Mandi parliamentary constituency as a BJP candidate, if he joined the party. Maheshwar Singh had not responded yet.
