Prini: A newly-built dam of 4.8 MW Aleo Electric Project-2 at Prini collapsed today morning in its first trial.
There is no causality reported so far, however administration has ordered a probe into the shocking incident. The dam was built with the capacity of 2,000 cubic metre.
It’s reported that the management of power project hadn’t informed local administration regarding the testing of the reservoir, so native villagers weren’t aware about it. Sudden increase in the flow of the water sparked panic among locals.
