Reacting to assembly election result of four states, Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh accepted that results were against the Congress. However he believes that it won’t impact the forthcoming General Election, since these are contested on local issues.

Virbhadra Singh, who is on Mandi district tour, accepted that the poll result was not as per party expectations, but he believes that the Congress party has potential to perform well in the coming Lok Sabha election and party cadre need to mobilize fast and spread the policies and initiative taken by UPA Govt among the general public.

Vikramaditya Singh, son of HP Chief Minister and newly elected Himachal Youth Congress President, emphasized on the need of introspection. He said that the Assembly elections results of Delhi, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, clearly shows that the mood of the Public at present wasn’t in favor of the Congress Party and now party need to do some real amount of introspection and analyze what went wrong.

Vikramaditya added that party will learn from this experience and cadre will work profusely to ensure victory in the forthcoming General Election. He said that his youth Congress team will work with more enthusiasm now. He said

Nevertheless I and the entire team of Youth Congress will work with even more enthusiasm and determination in the forthcoming General elections and with the support of the Common Man we will strengthen the party at the base level, will request to put their views on board even more strongly while framing all policy decisions of the Govt and make all earnest efforts to win all four Parliamentary Seats under the leadership of Smt. Sonia Gandhi and Shri Virbhadra Singh

Himachal Congress is aiming to win all four parliamentary seats of the state and to wrench Hamirpur seat, a stronghold of BJP, represented by Anurag Thakur, Himachal Pradesh Congress is infusing every possible effort to woo electorates. From the past one year, Himachal Chief Minister holding series of rallies and public meeting in the region.

Himachal Congress is also holding a rally on 25th December at Hamirpur, primarily aimed to corner the BJP in the Parliamentary constituency, which the Congress has not been able to win for the past 20 years, and aiming to mobilize massive public crowd for the rally.
