Renowned Himachali writer SR Harnot’s one of most popular short story ‘Bejuban Dost’ has recently been published in a renowned Belarusi Sahityik Patrika being published from Minsk the capital of Belarus.
The story was translated into Russian Language by renowned Hindi-Russian Translator and author Alesia Makovskaya of Minsk, Belarus and has been published in a renowned Russian Magazine ‘Belarusi Literature Magazine’.
The story prominently discusses the environment concerns and destruction in the name of development in mountain states and how the day to day normal life is being upset and disturbs. When Cement Factory’s people start cutting of thousands of trees, a village boy comes forward with village cattle to stop them to do so.
Story Bejuban Dost firstly published in a renowned Hindi magazine ‘Pakshdhar’ with a note of notable author Dr. D.N. Singh and later this was selected for play by well known Actor Anupam Kher’s Mumbai based Organization ‘Actors Prepares’ in historical Shimla Gaiety Theater during last year. They made this story for a part of their Acting Workshop and performed two shows for general public.
This is a great honour for a Himachal based Hindi writer as his story has translated in Foreign language and published in Russian language and magazine.
