Senior BJP leader and leader of opposition Prem Kumar Dhumal has accused Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh for misleading investors on the issue of the Central industrial package. Dhumal while addressing mediapersons at Barog in Solan district termed Singh’s statement in which he advised investors to forget enhancement of the package and learn to operate without incentives, disappointing.

He reminded the Congress that during assembly poll they had exploited this issue to gain electoral mileage. He also accused Congress for playing with the emotion of unemployed youth as Congress’ poll promise of granting unemployment allowance to the youth had remained unfulfilled and the skill development allowance was merely granted to 41 youth till now.

He also criticised the Virbhadra Singh led state government for failing to provide adequate ration in fair price shops. Dhumal also accused state Govt for not fulfilling their poll promise to the employees.

Former Chief Minister also accused CM for inaugurating developmental projects in the Baddi-Barotiwala-Nalagarh industrial area were initiated and completed during his tenure only. He claimed that their inauguration had been delayed due to the enforcement of the model code of conduct.

Dhumal believed that there was a visible wave in favour of the BJP and their prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi was receiving overwhelming support throughout the country. He is also hoping to perform well in state.
