To protest against the alleged political vendetta by the present Congress led State government, Himachal Pradesh BJP unit to gherao the state Assembly on August 23.
BJP state leaders were constantly accusing Virbhadra government for unleashing a political vendetta against state BJP leaders and making false cases to implicate them to gain politically in the state.
Revealing more on proposed Assembly gherao, state BJP spokesperson Ganesh Dutt said the party cadre would expose the witch-hunting of the Congress government and on 23rd August, party workers from across the state will stage a protest near the Vidhan Sabha, where most of senior and important party leaders including former Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal and state BJP president Satpal Singh Satti will be present.
Ganesh Dutt stated that BJP wouldn’t tolerate Congress’ autocracy and will fight back democratically, in the court of people against political vendetta at any cost. He added that instead focusing on the development of the state present government was wasting its time on implicating its political adversaries. He alleged that Congress led government hasn’t started any new project or plan to facilitate the state but was even closing down projects started by the previous BJP government.
Earlier state BJP had hold series of protest under the ‘Badla-Badli Virodh Saptah’ in various parts of the state and tried to convince common people that the Congress led government was indulging in vengeance against its political opponent and hurting the true spirit of democracy.
