Commenting on the GS Bali’s resignation from the cabinet post, which was reported in many media section, Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh has clarified that he has not received resignation from him.

The chief minister, who returned from Delhi after meeting All-India Congress Committee (AICC) president Sonia Gandhi and other party leaders said that he has no information about his resignation. He added that even party state in-charge Birender Chaudhary has also not received resignation from him. He said that he not even got information from party high-command as well.

From some section of media reports, it was learned that GS Bali was not happy with the allotted portfolios; and, while asking Chief Minister said that portfolios were allotted with keeping the capabilities and experience of a leader in mind. Singh added that Bali was entrusted with important portfolios of Transport, Food and Civil Supplies and Technical Education and is performing well. Singh also quashed any changes in the portfolios of ministers in Congress government.

However, on the other-side, GS Bali hasn’t released any statement over his resignation rumors. Bali, who called on the governor in the afternoon, neither denied nor accepted that he had resigned from the cabinet.
