Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation Limited (HPTDC) is offering Special Karva Chauth Package in its Hotels w.e.f. 31st October to 2nd November, 2012. This package involves totally free stay for 3rd day after paying full rates and taxes for the 1st two days. The discount will be equal to 1st day’s rent plus luxury tax for 1st day by paying 2 days rent plus tax, the 3rd day become free. The guest will be paying tax for 2 days only. Thus, the Corporation will bear the luxury tax for the 3rd day.
This was disclosed by Lokender Singh Chauhan, Managing Director, HPTDC today. He further stated that on the Karva Chauth Day, the Sargi will be arranged by the Hotel concerned free in the morning at 3-4 A.M. i.e. Feni, Bananas, Milk glass, Gulab Jamun, Mathi. The dry fruits/Puna Naiz/Suhagi Bindi, Churi, Kajal, Ribbon Mehndi etc. will also be arranged by the Hotel units on payment basis. On the Karva Chauth day, Arg/Pooja Thali and Karva with rice, urd dal, Druva, flowers, Kungu etc. will also be provided by the Hotel free. Besides Fasting dinner will be complimentary from the HPTDC side for staying couple.
