Himachal Congress inaugurated its media centre at its Shimla office. Party Himachal in-charge Birender Chaudhary inaugurated the centre. He was accompanied by the leader of opposition Vidya Stokes, Party State Chief Kaul Singh Thakur, MLA Mukesh Agnihotri, Sohan Lal, Ex minister Harsh Mahajan, Kudeep Singh Rathore and other Congress leaders. While addressing the media personal Birender Chaudhary said that it was decided in Parwanoo meeting with consultation with other senior leaders like Virbhadra Singh, Anand Sharma, Vidya Stokes and others that before assembly election party will constitute four such media centre in State.

For the forthcoming election Birender Chaudhary asked its leaders and workers to start work from micro level and asked them to cover every single voter of the State. He said that BJP Govt is neck deep in the corruption and even its strong leaders’ revolt is a clear assessment about its maladministration. Birender Chaudhary made it clear that if voted into the power, Congress party will investigate all corruption charges against the BJP and will not hesitate to send them behind the bar. He added that Land mafias are active in state and when Congress will come into the power it will investigate and take control on it and will form a policy for its further utilization.

Birender Chaudhary also had some nervous movement when asked about the Congress Charge Sheet against the BJP Govt., he bluntly refused to acknowledge the BJP released Chargesheet and said that Congress haven’t framed its chargesheet and added that party will release it when it will matter most. However, this time again, he refused to give clear date about its official release. He was also clueless while asking about Virbhadra Singh refusal to be a part of the manifesto committee for assembly elections, which is headed by the Anand Sharma, said that he and party high command have no information about it. He added that Virbhadra Singh is a most senior leader in Himachal and his vast experience can give good inputs for the party for forthcoming election. In the last Congress in-charge left the press conference hurriedly and few more quarries form media person were remained unanswered.
