Five people reported died in an accident when a car skidded of an icy road and fell into a gorge near the new ISBT, Shimla. Police said the accident probably happened in the Friday night and it was spotted by the locals in the Saturday morning. The accident was very fatal as even vehicle is also not identified. Car skidded down about 400 meters and Local people helped to retrieve the dead body from it.

Had the PWD constructed parapets there, the accident could have been averted and five young lives saved. This place is accident prone and a few days back another car had met accident on the same spot. The CM should take stern action and sack the concerned chief engineer.
