The Himachal police brought Aman Chaudhary, the accused in the murder of 96-year-old man Amba Dutt Dhanta, after taking him into custody from his native place in Bihar.
Superintendent of Police Sonal Agnihotri said the accused would be presented in the court. Aman, hailing from Bhagalpur district in Bihar, had been sent from Mumbai by Dhanta’s son-in-law who is a retired police officer. Aman murdered Dhanta and fled with Rs 12 lakh within three days after his arrival in the town.
