Deputy Commissioner BM Nanta is adamant to make Kullu smoke-free. Kullu will be second district in Himachal Pradesh after Shimla to become smoke-free. Nanta said that administration has sent directions to all educational institutions, government and private offices to strictly follow the notification of no-smoking in the public areas. He added that the sale of items containing tobacco is now banned within the 100-metre area of educational institutions.
