SJVN organising pollution-free Himachal run on May 21

On the event its 24th Raising Day, Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam Ltd, is organizing `Pollution-Free Himachal` run on May 21 to propagate the message of `Green energy and clean energy` from the historic Ridge maidan to the Indian Institute of Advanced Study. Residents and students will participate in the run. A spokesman of the company said that a symposium has also been organized on `hydro power development` at Peterhoff, which would be addressed by noted hydro power experts from IIT, Roorkee. Spokesman also added that number of other programmes will organizes during the week-long celebrations, which include a `kavi sammelan`, a blood donation camp and a cultural function.
