The wrong doing by the Buddhist refugee are cropping up incessantly. This time revenue Minister discloses in the assembly that there are 10 cases of Tibetan refugees purchasing land illegally in Himachal Pradesh in the last three years. Revenue Minister Gulab Singh Thakur said in a written reply that out of 42 ‘benami’ (illegal) land deals found violating the Himachal Pradesh Tenancy and Land Reforms Act, 1972, in the last three years, 10 cases relating to the Tibetans were detected.

He also added that investigation found that 234 cases of Tibetans encroaching upon government land by constructing houses are reported and all are under judicial scrutiny. The minister also clears that government has not given permission to any Tibetan to buy land in the state in the last three years.
