Chandana Roy, Vice Chairperson, H.P. Red Cross Hospital Welfare Section asked the members of the Section to make frequent visits in Hospitals, Oldage, Bal-Balika Ashrams to provide assistance to needy and deserving persons. She was presiding over a meeting of Executive Committee of the Section here today.
She said that the Red Cross played an important role in helping the suffering humanity. The Executive Committee unanimously passed the resolution to increase the amount of assistance to a patient for Rs. 5000 from Rs. 2500. Roy said that Branch would celebrate Van Mahotsav on 23rd August, 2012 in collaboration with Forest Department in Shimla.
Neerata Ackre, Honorary Secretary of the Section detailed about the activities of the Section. K.K. Shah, Special Executive Officer of Red Cross Society and Members of the Section were present in the meeting.
