An ill fated Keylong depot Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) bus fell into the Beas at 15 Mile village on the Manali-Kullu national highway. One person was killed and six others were injured in this accident.
The bus was carrying 16 passengers. The driver lost control over the bus and it plunged into the gushing waters of the Beas flowing 30 feet below the Manali-Kullu highway. Deceased was identified as Lal Mohan, a resident of Bodh Gaya (Bihar), he died in hospital.
All the passengers were rescued by some local youths and rushed to the Regional Hospital, Kullu.
