In protest of recently erupted scams in Country like the ISPAT scam, DLF scam and allegations against Zakir Hussain Memorial Trust, which is run by Union law minister Salman Khurshid, BJP workers burnt the effigy of Congress leader Virbhadra Singh and shouted slogans against him, Robert Vadra and Salman Khurshid.
Speaking to mediapersons after the protest, party Rajya Sabha MP Bimla Kashyap said that the people have to decide in the upcoming elections that whether they would like corrupt rule of Congress or progressive and pro-development regime of Prem Kumar Dhumal.
Kashyap said that Virbhadra Singh should explain to the people of the state that who are VBS and APS, the names found in the documents recovered by the income tax department during their raids at the ISPAT steel industry.
She blamed Congress for sheltering and promoting corrupt people and stated that BJP will raise the issue during the election campaign about the numerous scams in UPA regime.
