Chopal: In a major fire incident in Chopal tehsil of the Shimla district, 14 houses of Kashah village have been gutted. As per initial report forest fire is responsible for the arson which rendered 14 families of the village homeless.
SDM Chopal Anil Chauhan rushed to village and oversee the rescue operation. Administration has allocated Rs. 25000 per family as immediate relief to the affected families. Blankets and tents are also being distributed among affected.
No report of loss of life is received so far.
