New Delhi: Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh met AICC president Sonia Gandhi in New Delhi and apprised her about the political activities of the state.

As per the information received, Virbhadra Singh detailed out the initiatives of the state government with party national president and also apprised her with the fast changing political equations in the state.

Singh reportedly discussed the government plan of filling up the lone vacant Cabinet berth. The Congress leaders had also discussed the changing political equations and it’s learned that Virbhadra Singh had informed Sonia Gandhi about the divisive plans of his rivals, within party-fold, weakening the state government.

Earlier, Transport Minister G S Bali had met AICC president on Friday. His differences with Chief Minister and with his staunch loyalist Sudhir Sharma is known to all and after Bali’s meeting, the Chief Minister’s meeting with Congress National president considered politically significant for the state government.
