Shimla: Student political wing SFI has lodged complaint against the Himachal Pradesh University authority for the misutilization and non-utilization of various grants sanctioned by the different funding agencies.

In its written complaint to the Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, SFI accused Vice-Chancellor, Pro-Vice-Chancellor and the Registrar of HPU for stalling many developmental projects and also blamed University authority for victimizing common students on political ground.

SFI complaint of non-utilization of UGC funds for IIHS and building construction for tourism department of the University.

Leftist Student wing also raised the issue of not filling the post of Assistant Professor in Geographical Information System (GIS) and two posts of assistant professor in tourism department despite being sanctioned by the UGC.

SFI also raised the matter of delayed construction of multi-faculty building and unspent money under the NRI scheme.

Student wing has demanded immediate removal of Vice-Chancellor, Pro-Vice-Chancellor and the Registrar and urged Chief Minister to appoint visionary and renowned academician on these coveted posts.
