Himachal Congress welcomed the step of Election Commission of India for barring BJP’s UP in-charge Amit Shah from holding any public rallies in the state for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
HPCC Spokesperson Naresh Chauhan said that ECI’s decision was historic in view of BJP’s divisionary politics to gain political mileage in the Lok Sabha elections. He accused BJP for appointed Amit Shah in-charge of biggest state of India to polarise votes on the basis of religion and caste but ECI took the important step at right time to ban Shah from holding any future rallies.
Chauhan advised the people of the country to caution from communal forces, who can go to any extent to fulfill their ulterior motives.
