Shimla: Rajasthan police has arrested two IT students of APG Shimla University for allegedly defrauding BSNL and causing loss to the tune of Rs. 8 lakh.

Police said that accused Kulshrestha Verma and Hardik Sood allegedly hacked e-process of the IT service provider firm Data Infosys, which recharges BSNL’s prepaid mobile phones and recharged over 500 mobile numbers of Shimla circle last year.

The company detected the fraudulent activities last year and lodged an FIR with cyber police station in November 2013.
