Chief Parliamentary Secretaries Vinay Kumar and I.D Lakhanpal have ridiculed the statement of former Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal wherein he has questioned the concessions given in the budget to drive the industrial investment in the State.
In a joint press statement, Congress leaders accused leader of opposition for resorting to baseless and frivolous statements to mislead the people of the State. They said that that opposition leader wasn’t able to digest the development in Himachal Pradesh.
Congress leaders said that to attract more industrial investments and ensure more employment avenues to the youth, the State government had given some concessions to the industries. The State Level Single Window Clearance and Monitoring Committee was giving clearances to new industrial projects with in 90 days and now the revenue department would give approval under Section-118 of the HP Tenancy & Land Reforms (HPTLR) Act with in 45 days. They said
It was surprising that when Prem Kumar Dhumal was Chief Minister of the State, he always talked about the industrial growth but now when present government was striving for industrialization of the State, he was not able to accept it
The Chief Parliamentary Secretaries said that it was for the first time that all industrial unions and investors have appreciated the budget but BJP leader was criticizing it to take political benefit.
