Bhartiya Janta Yuva Morcha (BJYM) national president Hamirpur MP Anurag Thakur accused Virbhadra Singh led state government for stalling the development of his parliamentary constituency Hamirpur.
While interacting with the press, Thakur accused Virbhadra Singh for rejecting setting up of a Central University at Dehra in Hamirpur and shifted it to Dharamsala. He said that another project at Bilaspur in Hamirpur parliamentary was also shifted to another place. When Virbhadra was central minister, he stalled the opening of a railway link from Una to Ambala.
Thakur said that these all decisions were politically motivated and common people of the region were suffering from it. He is also hoping to do well in the coming General election under the leadership of Narender Modi. He believed a strong undercurrent in the support of Narendra Modi’s candidature as Prime Minister.
While responding to the media query over Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association and its working, Thakur claimed that the association has done nothing wrong and even the state government for tarnishing its image by making motivated and baseless statements.
