Housing & Urban Development Corporation Ltd. (HUDCO) contributed Rs. fifteen lakh towards Chief Minister Relief Fund for mitigating the sufferings of the people of flood and rain-ravaged areas of the State. Regional Chief, HUDCO, V.K. Joshi presented a cheque to Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh.

Joshi said that HUDCO had decided to allocate another grant of Rs. 50 lakh under HUDCO’s Corporate Social Responsibility for supporting disaster rehabilitation projects in the State in consultation with the State Government. He said that HUDCO had also been working for development of Housing and Infrastructure in the Himachal Pradesh for last 40 years and had provided financial assistance to various public agencies for undertaking major housing and infrastructure projects.

Senior Manager HUDCO Development Office Shimla Surjeet Mohan was also present on the occasion. Chief Minister thanked HUDCO for their contribution and said that it would go a long way in providing relief to the poor and needy.
