Himachal Pradesh cricket team again fail in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy as Punjab team beat Himachal by two wickets. Match was played at Tata Energy Research Institute Oval, Gurgaon. Batting first, Himachal cricket team bowled out for paltry 100 runs in 19.5 overs. Rishi Dhawan scored 31, Ankush Bains 27 and Captain Aakash Chopra managed to score 17 runs and other players even failed to reach to double figure. Even four batsmen failed to open their accounts. In reply to paltry 101, Punjab team lost eight wickets and managed to exceed Himachal challenge in 9.4 overs. Mayank Sidhana topped score with 26 runs for Punjab.
