Election campaign is in it full swing, all parties are trying their best to influence the voters to vote in their favor on November 4. In every election, political think tanks come out with different and new plans to woo more and more voters, but this election will be remembered for youth participation in the campaign.

Congress has two youth wings, Youth Congress and student wing NSUI, which have worked to make favorable movement for the party official candidates. Whereas BJP had started well with Bhartiya Janta Yuva Morcha, which started well and even couple of months back party has announced to hold youth rally in every possible region, but it was wrapped in the announcement of rallies. Though, BJYM had held few rallies, but it failed to make its presence felt among senior leaders and electors. On the other side, Congress also ended up with the same fate.

We can’t say it as a total failure, but yes it failed to leave the mark which was perceived. Though in Jubbal-Kotkhai, youth workers are looking to break the ice and trying every possible thing to woo electors to vote in favor of young Congress leader Rohit Thakur. President of Youth Congress Jubbal-Navar-Kotkhai, Vikram Kanwar said that youth wing is working along with senior members and giving proper support to them. He said that so far Youth Congress has organized meeting at Mandal, Salang, Sansog, Batar Galu, Jubbal, Kotkhai, Kalbog, Deoli and Tikker and in every meeting hundreds of youth participated.

So, with all guns blazing, the Youth Congress and the senior party leaders are doing their level best to attract voters to the polling booth and vote in Rohit Thakur’s favor on the big day.
