A Spokesman of the State Government said here today that the five percent Pension Allowance of Basic Pension would be given to the Himachal Pradesh Government Pensioners between the age group of 65 to 80 years. He added that the instructions in this regard have been issued here today.
He said that the Allowance would be admissible from 1st October, 2012. He said that pensioners who have attained the age of 80 years and above had already been getting additional pension on their basic pension.
He said that Pension Allowance on attaining the age of 65 years and above but less than 80 years would be admissible from the 1st day of the month in which his date of birth falls.
This Allowance will also be admissible to All India Service Pensioners of Himachal Pradesh Cadre and H.P. Government Family Pensioners.
