Protesting against the Govt decision to allow the FDI in retail, BJP is holding Hiamcahl Bandh on 20th September. State BJP president Satpal Singh Satti has urged common people to participate in it and make it successful. Satti said that during the proposed Himachal bandh, BJP will protest at all major towns and its workers will aware the common people about the serious affects of it to the local business people. BJP president claimed that FDI in retail will affect the 4-cr businessmen.

BJP senior leader Shanta Kumar lead the demonstration at Dharamshala, whereas JP Nadda will lead the protest in Shimla and BJP chief will lead the agitation at Una town. Virender Kashyap will lead the protesters at Solan, Ram Swaroop at Mandi, Randhir Sharma at Bilaspur, Chander Mohan Thakur at Nahan, Tejwant Negi at Kinnaur, Dr Ram Lal Markande at Lahaul Spiti, Dr Rajiv Bhardwaj at Chamba, Pyare Lal Sharma at Hamirpur and Praveen Sharma will lead the protesters at Kullu. Other BJP leaders will also present at the protest at their native places.
