Member of Parliament and President of Bharatiya Janta Yuva Morcha (BJYM) Anurag Thakur inaugurated newly constructed Assistant Public Relations Office at Rajgarh in district Sirmaur constructed at a cost of Rs. 26 lakh last evening.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that State Government was making all efforts to make balanced development in all areas with special emphasis on backward and remote areas of the State like Pachhad. He lauded the role of media for disseminating the policies and programmes of the State Government in right perspective. He said that having own office building in Rajgarh, which also houses Press Room would facilitate the media in a better way.

Earlier, Thakur dedicated Rs. 58 lakh Rest House of Irrigation and Public Health Department at Shalana and Community Hall at Chog-Tali constructed at a cost of Rs. seven lakh.

Virender Kashyap, MP, Chander Mohan Thakur, Chairman, H.P. State Cooperative Bank, Dayal Pyari, Chairperson, Zila Parishad and B.D. Sharma, Director, Information and Public Relations were also present on the occasion.
