State Govt has opened Degree College at Nankhari, in Rampur Sub-Division of district Shimla and Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal assured the delegation led by Sher Singh Chauhan, President, District Shimla BJP and Chairman, HP State Land Development Bank and Brij Lal, Chairman, Kailash Federation that Govt will make new college functional on priority.
Chief Minister added that the State Government was endeavouring to provide higher and quality education to the rural youth at their door steps. He said that a number of higher educational centres had been opened during present regime to facilitate youth, especially the girl students, pursue their dream of higher education at their door steps. He said that Government Degree college at Nankhari was second state owned degree college in Rampur sub-division. He said that notification to make the college functional had been issued by the Government and it would soon come into operation and start admission process. He said that an impressive college campus would be constructed to provide students best academic atmosphere.
