A ‘Matdata Suvidha Kendra’ has been opened in Multipurpose Hall of Gaiety Cultural Complex to facilitate such persons of the State who had completed 18 years or above on 1st January, 2012 and whose names doe not figure in the electoral to register their names in the electoral rolls. Dev Swaroop, State Election Commissioner inaugurated the Matdata Suvidha Kendra today.

This Kendra would be opened from 13th to 18th June, 2012 between 11.00 AM to 7.00 PM daily.

Narender Chauhan, Chief Electoral Officer has appealed all those persons whose names are not registered in the electoral rolls to get their names registered in the electoral rolls. B.C. Badaliya, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Shimla and Sunil Kumar, Additional Chief Electoral Officer was also present on the occasion.
