The Red Cross is doing a commendable job in mitigating the sufferings of the humanity. This was stated by Chairperson, H.P. Red Cross Hospital Welfare Wing Sheela Dhumal while presiding over the monthly meeting over the H.P. Red Cross Hospital Welfare Wing at Red Cross Bhawan here today.
Earlier a two minute silence was observed by the members of the wing over the demise of Abhishek Kapoor, son of Dr. G.P. Kapoor, a member of the wing. A decision to distribute 400 blankets among the fire sufferers of fire incident at Rohru by Red Cross Society after the approval of the Governor was also reached upon. It was also decided to implement the decisions taken in the meeting of 18th October, 2011.
