Workshop organized for implementing Service Level Bench marking in Urban Local Bodies

Department of Urban Development organized a workshop on Implementing Service Level Bench Marking in Urban Local Bodies in Himachal Pradesh. The main focus of the workshop was to improve professional skill, besides assessing current levels of urban service delivery system to citizens through all 49 local bodies of the State. Director Urban Development, Dr. Purnima Chauhan inaugurated the workshop and said that such workshop are an important platform for emphasizing the need to use modern information technology tools so that quick information flow could help in prompt redressal of citizen grievances besides ensuring close monitoring of progress made in service sectors.
