Congress supported Anirudh Singh elected Chairman Shimla Zila Parishad and Prahlad Kashyap elected Vice Chairman. Anirudh Singh defeated BJP candidate Indu Verma convincingly and won election by 15-9 ratio, whereas vice Chairman got 14-10.
