Chamba celebrates 62nd Republic Day with transport minister Mahender Singh Thakur. On the occasion MLA B.K. Chauhan was present. Mahender Singh Thakur announces new air-conditioned bus service between Chamba to New Delhi and also declares meager 2200 and Rs. 1100 reward for the HRTC drivers for their accident free career. Prior to the function minister flagged off newly introduced Chamba-Dharampur (via Palampur and Sujanpur) bus service.
