Rohtang Pass opened for Vehicular traffic

The mighty Rohtang pass has been opened for vehicular traffic. Deputy Commissioner Lahaul-Spiti district Bir Singh Thakur said that as per the information provided by GREF authorities the Rohtang pass has been opened and the vehicular traffic restored.

Thakur said that the two buses were scheduled to leave for Keylong from Kullu at 6.00 am on 3rd May, 2014 and will further leave Manali at 7.30 am. He said that one bus will leave from Keylong at 9.30 am for Manali on the same day. He said that Rohtang Pass was closed due to heavy snow last November and were airlifted through sorties.
