Taking an aggressive mode, the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) has now launched a counter attack on Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh and accused financial irregularities in the Padam Singh Memorial Cricket Tournament Rohru.

Spokesperson of the HPCA Sanjay Sharma, alleged that funds collected for the Cricket Tournament, which was organised annually by the family of Virbhadra Singh at Rohru, was used for the Mandi parliamentary by-poll contested by Pratibha Singh.

HPCA official alleged that funds in crores were being generated to organise the cricket tournament and even many government departments were also illegally diverting funds for the organising it. He asked the family of the Chief Minister to make the accounts of the Padam Singh Memorial Cricket Tournament public.

He also accused Congress led government for illegally implicating Anurag Thakur and blamed Chief Minister for pressurising vigilance officials to register cases against him. He also raised doubts over the functioning of Govt and accused them for doing it to divert the attention of people from failure of the state government.
