Shimla: A four-day State Level Consultative workshop to develop strategic quality plan for the schools of Himachal Pradesh concluded here, today. The workshop was held under the guidance of the experts from National University of Educational Planning and Administration (NUEPA), New Delhi and International NGO ‘Save the Children’.

Addressing the participants, State Project Director, SSA/RMSA, D.C Rana said that the State was committed to provide quality education by ensuring conducive and inclusive learning environment at school level for holistic development of every child through effective school leadership.

He said that a perspective quality education plan has been drafted by identifying the key areas to the targeted with a clear time frame and outcomes. The plan envisions achieving the quality improvement goals by enhancing the skills of the school heads so that they were strengthened for the better delivery of their roles. The plan would be submitted to the State Government for approval and implementation. About 30 practitioners from all the districts of the State participated in the workshop.
