BJP leader and Former Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal and state BJP chief Satpal Singh Satti have expressed grief over the demise of Sarabjit Singh.

Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal blamed weak foreign policy of the UPA government for the attack on Sarabjit Singh in Pakistan jail, which led to his death. He said that the Centre should take up the issue strongly with the Pakistan government.

In a press communiqué, former HP Chief Minister said that the entire nation was with Sarabjit’s family. He termed it a “planned murder” and said it was in violation of all international laws.

Dhumal also lambasted at the UPA regime and blamed for the weak leadership at the center. He also regretted that despite the Chinese Army intruding into the Indian Territory, the UPA regime was silent over the entire issue. He said that demoralizing the Army. He said that it was high time that the UPA regime gave a befitting reply to Pakistan for all its act of omission and commission.

Himachal BJP Chief also criticised the UPA regime for failing to protect its innocent citizens like Sarabjit, despite knowing the truth about Pakistan’s activities. Hamirpur Lok Sabha member and BJYM national President, Anurag Thakur also lashed out at the UPA government and demanded the resignation of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh for the failure to protect the interests of the people.
