Bilaspur newly elected legislator Bambar Thakur stated that several development schemes are being launched at Bhatoli village in Bilaspur constituency as it has been adopted as a model village for all-round development by NABARD.

Legislature said NABARD would build four check dams for irrigation, 30 more check dams for checking soil erosion two tubewells for drinking water, 15 retaining walls and five small bridges.

He said five bio-fertiliser units would be set up, fodder grown and fruit trees planted in large numbers during three years as part of this project.

He also assured the residents of Matyal that he would take up matter of Matyal Bridge over the Seer khud and bridge would be a part of the budget for priority schemes so that it took shape at the earliest. He also said that he would pay special attention to development in eight panchayat areas which were merged in his constituency recently.
