In a letter to Registrar General of the High Court, Chairman of the Himachal Pradesh High Court Advocate Welfare and Charitable Society Shrawan Dogra said that the Society has decided to suspend work on the construction of lawyers’ chambers project. Society ahs decided to follow the instruction of report of the IIT, Roorkee.

The committee has decided that during rainy season, only restoration work required to protect, retain and stabilise the strata would be undertaken as per the recommendations of the report of the institute.

The actual construction work will be resumed only after a fresh report from geologists with regard to soil strata is received and requisite technical suggestions and opinion is obtained from structural engineer concerned.
