Application invites for Sikh pilgrims to Pakistan

A Spokesman of the State Government said that Jatha of 500 Sikh pilgrims is going to Pakistan on the occasion of Barsi of Maharaja Ranjit Singh Ji’ to visit various historic Gurudawaras situated in Pakistan. He said that this visit is for a period of 10 days starting from 21st June, 2012 to 30th June, 2012. The quota allotted to Himachal Pradesh is of three pilgrims and the last date for receiving the application is 24th May, 2012.

He further said that application on plain paper indicating complete Name, Address, contact number including mobile and attested copy of the passport, copy of bonafide certificate should be delivered to Devinder Saraswati, Under Secretary, Home in Room No. 311 Armsdale Building, H.P. Secretariat by 24th May, 2012. In case of enquiry, clarification the applicants could contact on Mobile No. 94180-10890 or Rama Nand, Section Officer on Mobile No. 94180-90159, he added.
