A deputation of Office bearers of Himachal Pradesh Anganwari Workers and Sahayika Sangh, District Mandi Unit, led by Lalita Sharma met the Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal and expressed their gratitude for enhancing honorarium of anganwari workers and sahayikas.
Chief Minister said that State Government was committed for welfare of anganwari workers and added that enhancement in their honorarium would benefit about 37,000 anganwari workers and sahayikas. He said that State Government was giving special emphasis for women empowerment and had set up a separate department for them for their socio-economic upliftment and to look into their welfare.
