The theme of the Gram Sabha scheduled on 2nd October, 2011 would be ‘Swachta Se Swasthye, Swasthye Se Samridhi’, in order to achieve the goal of ‘Nirmal Himachal’. This was disclosed by spokesman of Department of Rural Development.
He said that the Health Department together with Rural Development Department would work together for achieving the ‘Nirmal State’ status. Various health concerned and sanitation issues regarding woman and child health, hygienic conditions, preventions from water borne diseases and other health related schemes would be discussed in Gram Sabha meetings to aware the people about various health and sanitation issues at grass root level. In addition to this, special health check up camps would also be organised at Gram Panchayat level.
