Burn cases will get highly specified treatment in Regional hospital Hamirpur now. A separate block for these patents will be constructed and the proposal has sent to government. CMO Dr. D.S. Chandel gave the information and also added that the working of the specific team is going on. For the construction of a separate block 400 square meter land has marked near the CMO residence. In the unit for the care of these patients two plastic surgeon, three specialist and paramedical staff is also appointed. Sources informed that for the establishment of the unit forty-three lac finances have reached in the hospital. Hospital authorities have instigated step to provide facility on the top floor of present building as long as the separate block do not come in existence. It is remarkable that the government of India had taken decision to start six such units in the country. Out of the six units, himachal have pleasure to seek three units. These three units are going to be launched at Regional hospital Hamirpur, Regional hospital Mandi and at Dr. Rajinder Parshad Medical College Tanda (Kangra). As per information plastic skill cell and skin grafting facilities will also be available on these centers.
