Three Himachali players of Indian Power Lifting Team have brought the laurels to the country by winning one gold and two silver medals in World Power Lifting Championship.
Jiwan Kumar from Jogindernagar of Mandi district won the gold medal and Ajit Singh from Rait and Dhruv Singh from Bharwana of Kangra district won the silver medals.
Total 63 players from India had participated in the championship and won 11 gold and seven silver medals in the event.
The World Power Lifting Championship was held at Las Vegas in USA from 17th October to 21st October, 2014.
