Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh has congratulated the Indian men and women Kabaddi teams for winning gold medals in the 17th Asian Games today.
Chief Minister said that it was a remarkable achievement that both men and women Kabaddi teams won gold for the country. He said it was a matter of proud for the State as two women players viz Pooja Thakur from Bilaspur district, Kavita Singh from Kullu district and Ajay Thakur from Nalagarh were part of the Indian Kabaddi teams.
Virbhadra Singh said that Himachali players had been performing brilliantly in various international sports events since last few years and they had brought laurels to the State and the country.
He assured his government commitment to provide best infrastructural and coaching facilities to the players so that more and more players of the State could excel in their performance in the near future.
