Private industries and Govt dept should band together for employment generation: Vikramaditya

To meet the requirements of the private industrial units in the state – where exists a wide scope of employment for unemployed youths – newly elected state Youth Congress president Vikramaditya Singh emphasisied on co-ordination between private industries and various government departments for identifying necessary modular employment skill programmes for the youth of the State.

Vikramaditya Singh in a letter to Industries and Public Relations Minister, Mukesh Agnihotri urged for organizing ‘Rozgar Melas’, as per the policy of the State Government in all the districts by Labour & Employment, Industries and MPP & Power departments by inviting the entrepreneurs of various industries and the recruiting officers of power projects for selecting the youth as per their requirements.

In addition to this Vikramaditya has also advocated for minimizing the age to 16 from the present 18 years under the ambitious Skill Development Allowance Scheme so that the youth can opt for and acquire the necessary skills immediately after completion of their basic education mandatory under the scheme so as to enable them for employment opportunities and self-employment.

He also sought for appropriate guidance from the Minister so that he could work as per the expectations of the youth of the State for further strengthening the youth power.
